Towards Sustainable Livelihoods Programme
AMAZING PEOPLE WANTED!
The communities we work with in Nawalparasi, supported by our brilliant partners at HICODEF, have developed a programme of work that they view as vital to making their livelihoods, farms and communities sustainable in the face of the challenges presented by climate change. Having visited some of these communities in April 2024, the projects that have been proposed are both perfectly aligned with need and are also ambitious in scale and outputs, underlining the need for bold action to support these vulnerable communities.
The Glacier Trust is looking for funding to support this work, and we’re approaching this in a slightly different way, offering a different level of involvement and overall experience in the programme from the start, along with regular updates as well as sampling some of the rare coffee that will be produced as part of one of the projects. We want to bring our generous donors along on the journey with us!
If you’re interested in learning more, you can download the Donor Pack using the link below or by clicking the above photograph, and I’m also more than happy to provide further details of the proposal and associated outputs.
The best time for climate action was 20 years ago. The next best time is now. Please help us make a lasting positive impact on the people of Nawalparasi.
